Annual RYC Tradition

Breakout & Camping

Once a year, the 616 Ryders leave the city behind and head into nature for our Annual Breakout & Camping experience. It's about bonding with family, reconnecting with the outdoors, and preparing together for the Blessing of the Bikes.

The Experience

More Than a Campout

The RYC Annual Breakout is a full experience — members and their families gather at a retreat setting in Michigan to share meals, enjoy the outdoors, build deeper bonds, and spiritually prepare for the riding season ahead. The weekend culminates in our journey to the Blessing of the Bikes, a tradition that unites riders across the region.

Club Tradition

Blessing of the Bikes

The Blessing of the Bikes is a cherished tradition in the motorcycle community — a gathering where riders come together to have their bikes blessed for a safe riding season. RYC attends as a club, riding together in unity and representing Grand Rapids with pride.
